For years now I have mad every effort to get out of work at 1500 or 3 PM local. This was very important as the first break was always the best, especially after a vacation or weekend. I knew that 30-50 minutes of laughter and merriment was to be mine, shared with the hundreds of thousands fellow commuters across the nation.

I would seek out the Don & Mike Show in whatever city I was traveling to, downloading the padcasts (or earlier, the 'Don't Talk About Fight Club).

Now I can take my time to answer email, check on my people, do paperwork, get gas, or WhatNot., as I just don't care....

I really like DonnieG's new show out in OXB. Mike O'Meara will hopefully land a gig in this area soon.

Til then, I finally will get my paperwork done in time....

I used to do the same thing... rushing through surgery so I could turn on the radio dial right at 3pm. My malpractice insurance company is gonna be happy now, and I'll probably not lose so many forceps! ^_^

You are in the area where you receive his signal now..... Lucky you wish I had the privilege to hear him. I called his show yesterday if you were listening. I am the guy from Vegas that paid a friends son to record Donnie G first week while they were on vacation up there. It was like eating one dorito only being able to listen to 6 shows but I'm a patient man, well that a flippn lie I have no patients I just have no choice until October 2010

You DO realize that come October 2010, Doni might have slipped into such a comfort zone on his little Delmarva Beach station that he might not WANT to pursue high-stakes, high-stress syndicated radio again, assuming that there IS commercial over-the-air radio OR satellite radio by then. The way Google's going, by Oct. 2010, we may be getting 1,000 streams of hi-fidelity music and talk beamed directly to a chip implanted in our cerebral cortex...and there STILL won't be a place for Don and Mike.
